WiFiGuru provides an easy to manage and cost effective WiFi system for your multi-family property. For those who manage multiple properties, they can all be managed from one dashboard.
How do users sign in?
Users scan for available networks and find the network that is often named the same as the building name. They login with the voucher you provide them.
How many users can use the voucher?
Vouchers are configured easily by you, you can add users or generate extra vouchers at any time. We recommend at least 5 users per voucher as many people have a telephone, tablet and many households also have a laptop or desktop computer. Smart TVs and gaming systems are also able to connect and are also extra users.
What devices will connect?
Our systems are compatible with most WiFi enabled devices. iPhones, Samsung and other Android devices all connect easily. Tablets, laptop and desktop computers can all connect just as they would to another wireless network. Smart TVs, Apple TV, android boxes and gaming systems are easy to connect.
What information is available about users?
No private information is available to the managers of the system neither you or our staff as system admins receive private information, url history nor any passwords. You can see device names, types, WiFi performance and bandwidth usage.
What speed will the network have?
Network speeds are dependant on the main internet feed and system configuration. Often we throttle to about 25Mbs for most systems. That bandwidth is for EACH device and not the total for each voucher. For building owners that require greater bandwidth, we can configure the system for up to 300Mbs per user and would require a substantial connection to the internet for multiple users.
